Dice Battle
Pick your number. Roll the dice. See who wins.
How to Play
Learn the rules for every Dice Battle mode and challenge your friends to fair duels.
Both players select one number within the die's range (e.g. 1–6 on D6). One die rolls. If your lucky number lands, you win! If neither matches, roll again with zero penalty.
Both players guess a number. When the die rolls, whoever has the closest absolute distance to the result claims victory. Equal distances automatically trigger a tiebreaker!
Pure high-roller duel! Both players roll their own die simultaneously in 3D. Whoever rolls the higher number wins. Equal rolls trigger instant automatic tiebreakers.
Engage in multi-round championship matches. In Best of 3, the first player to win 2 rounds takes the trophy. In Best of 5, first to 3 wins is crowned the Dice Champion.

Frequently Asked Questions about Dice Battle
What is Dice Battle? ↓
Dice Battle is a fast-paced, competitive 2-player dice game. Players enter their names, choose an polyhedral die (from D4 up to D100), and battle across multiple game modes such as Lucky Number, Closest Number, Head-to-Head, and multi-round Best of 3 / 5 tournaments.
How does Lucky Number work? ↓
In Lucky Number mode, each player picks one secret lucky number within the dice range. A single die is rolled. If the die lands on your chosen number, you win the round! If neither player matches the roll, it’s declared No Winner This Round and you can roll again.
How does Closest Number work? ↓
In Closest Number, both players select a number and a single die is rolled. The game calculates the mathematical difference (|picked - rolled|) for each player. The player with the smaller distance to the actual roll wins.
What happens if both players tie? ↓
When both players roll the exact same number in Head-to-Head or have identical distances in Closest Number, the game automatically initiates a dramatic Tiebreaker roll (Tiebreaker #1, #2, etc.) until a definitive winner emerges.
Which dice are supported? ↓
Dice Battle supports all standard tabletop RPG dice: D4 (1–4), D6 (1–6), D8 (1–8), D10 (1–10), D12 (1–12), D20 (1–20), and D100 (1–100).
How do I play Dice Battle in Fullscreen mode? ↓
Tap or click the Fullscreen (⛶) button at the top-right of the battle arena. The game will expand across your entire screen with a dedicated dark arena background, perfect for live game nights, party duels, classrooms, and stream overlays. Tap ✕ or press Escape anytime to exit.
Can I play on mobile? ↓
Yes! Dice Battle is built mobile-first. On mobile phones (320px–430px), Player 1 and Player 2 stack seamlessly with comfortable touch buttons, tactile animations, and zero horizontal scrolling.
Do I need an account? ↓
No. Dice Battle requires zero login, no email, and no sign-up. You can challenge a friend right away directly in your web browser.
Are battle results saved? ↓
Yes! Your recent battle results (up to 50 games) and head-to-head win statistics are safely stored in your browser’s local storage (localStorage). You can inspect your history anytime or clear it with a single tap.
